Custom Built Sport-Fisher Cockpit Bed. Fun idea and we ran with it. Really like how it turned out. Originally planned to do bunk beds but restricted by proportions and room size. If interested let us know and we put you in line with our current projects.

2013 Boston Whaler 370 Outrage
The local Boston Whaler dealer recently sold this half a million dollar center console and asked us to give her a paint job. We painted her using Awl-Grips' Ocean Blue. We relocated the 370 Outrage decal so it does not "sun burn" the paint job and went with the Boston Whaler red decal in the back corner. We think she now looks like a million bucks!
2013 Contender 39 ST
The owner of this "bad-ass" fishing machine told us that he wanted to bottom paint his new ride but also didn't want to know it was bottom painted. So, we sanded her down, applied 4 coats of Interprotect 2000 and applied 3 coats of each of the 4 different colors. We used Interlux's Micron CF and color matched the hull side, bottom, trim tabs and the Yamahas. On dry land or in the water, its fun to see peoples reaction when you tell them she's bottom painted.
2010 Regulator 29' CC
This boat came to us for an assortment of work. We bottom painted her using 4 coats of Interprotect 2000 and 3 coats of Micron CSC. We installed 3 bi-color Lumatec under water lights, removed the bow rail, installed cup-holders and rod holders where the bow rail mounts were located, installed JLs' 7.7 with tweeters and installed protective speaker boxes on the back side of the speakers and installed JL's 6/600 amp to finish her off.
64' Jarrett Bay "Reel Quick"
This fish raising sport fisher needed to maximize their storage to better suit their needs. We installed a custom rod rack under the gas assisted salon sofa using cherry hardwood for the base plates, Lees' gold rod holders, and a satin interior varnish to match the rest of the boats interior. The Sportfisher profile was made from cutting and laminating 1" strips of Zebra and Brazillian lace wood to the profile and finishing it in satin interior varnish as well. We added shelving to the v-berth and master closets and converted the rod locker closet to storage closet. We cut and trimmed the c-rails from solid cherry hardwoods. The shelves are simply made from marine ply with laminated formica. The fly-bridge got some rod storage as well, in the form of Sapele base plates, clear coated in West System 207 and rigged with gold rod and reel clips. We enjoyed working with the Captain and the owners of the "Reel Quick" and hope to see them on some leader boards.
Grady White 20' Over nighter Hard Top
This boat came to us from Louisiana to have a goob bit of work done to her. We built the hard top using divinycell and 1808 biax fiberglass and finished her out in Awl-Grip Oyster White. She has a built in radio box with flush mount electronic face. We glassed in a flat spot in the top of her in order to mount the radar. High Speed Welding did the aluminum and Donat Marine Solutions re-wired the entire boat and installed the electronics. We are always flattered when boats travel long distances to come see us, but the big kick of it is when the owners return to pick the boat up when its finished. The families reaction was priceless.
Boston Whaler Custom Swim Platform
We have had enough Whalers come through the shop to understand what most customers do and do not like about them. The most common dislike is the mountability of a swim ladder. Well, here is your solution. High Speed Welding does the Aluminum work and we install the retractable 3 rung ladder underneath the metal work. We then in lay our custom made teak platform with alternating heights in the strips to promote traction and drainage. The end result is a bomb proof swim platform with a long ladder that makes getting in and out of the boat easier than ever.
17' Glades Skiff
This boat was built down in Florida specifically for fishing the Everglades. Its designed to have the 9.9hp to be hoisted from the transom to the bow for counter weight as you pole through the mangroves. We will be making some improvements such as a spray rail, rub-rail, new non-skid, new registration decals, and installing a trolling motor to the bow. This boat is extremely light and very easy to build. Its' going to make an awesome boat to chase Red's through the flats and marshes.
Boston Whaler Custom Side Consoles
We were contacted by Camp Sea Gull in Arapahoe, NC to fabricate some bomb proof side consoles for 3 of their 13' Whalers that are being converted to remote steering with new E-tec power. We are using 3/4" Coosa, 1708 Biax glass and Awl-grip to build and finish these consoles. We have added some width, height and slope to Whalers' original design so that these Counselor boats are comfortable herding campers all day long. Camp Sea Gull and Camp SeaFarer have fleets of sailboats and small powerboats to teach campers how to safely operate each vessel. We look forward to delivering these consoles and helping install them before Summer sessions begin.
